Welcome to Sue's Puppy Training

At Sue's Puppy Training, we work on socialisation, basic training, controlled meeting, heelwork, plus a lot more. My training is based on praise, reward and fun, and forming a close bond with your puppy.

I run a 6 week set course in Derby for puppies from 12 weeks up to 16 weeks of age. All puppies must be fully vaccinated.

About us

We started training 42 years ago, my husband had a German Shepherd puppy who needed some training and that's when it all started.

I then started training my crossbreed Katie and really got into training and then went into obedience training.

We worked obedience competitions. When I lost Katie I had a Border Collie and also went into Heelwork To Music competitions.

We also did demonstrations with the dog club we attended.

20 years ago, I was asked if I would run puppy classes to which I got very addicted and thoroughly enjoy to this day.
